# Map data

This directory is the stable HTTPS root for final map outputs used by Sigua products.

Publish only normalized indexes and compressed, web-ready shards needed for display or queries. Keep each map under `data/maps/<map-id>/` and split large outputs by the natural loading unit, such as layer or tile.

Do not copy full package exports, original textures or meshes, extraction caches, captures, or research evidence here. Those remain in SiguaResearch-owned ignored `.local` custody with a hash inventory. The tracked Research case and toolchain explain how a published map output can be reproduced.
